Francophonie is women and men sharing one language: French. Around 300 million people speak French on the 5 continents. Every year on 20th March, they celebrate Francophonie all around the world.

On this occasion, the French Institute in India, Alliances Françaises in India and many institutions such as schools, universities and cultural centres organise events.

These educational events aim at promoting French by associating these activities with the International women’s day, Rights & Democracy, French Ministry of Culture’s “Dis-Moi 10 mots” programme among others…
