Francophonie is women and men sharing one language: French. Around 300 million people speak French on the 5 continents. Every year on 20th March, they celebrate Francophonie all around the world.
On this occasion, the French Institute in India, Alliances Françaises in India and many institutions such as schools, universities and cultural centres organise events.
These educational events aim at promoting French by associating these activities with the International women’s day, Rights & Democracy, French Ministry of Culture’s “Dis-Moi 10 mots” programme among others…
Wherever you are in India, you can celebrate with us:
- Participate in our events: video capsule contest, poster making contest, dictée francophone.
- Participate in local events OR organize your own event – all listed on the map.
