These examinations can be taken upon completion of different levels.
-Certificat de Français Elémentaire  CFE  
Level 2 200 hours of tuition
-Certificat de Français Pratique Intermédiaire  CFI  
Level 3 300 hour sof tuition
-Certificat de Français Pratique  CFP  
Level 4 400 hours of tuition
-Diplôme de Langue Française  DL  
Level 5 after 600 hours of tuition
-Diplôme Supérieur d'Etudes Françaises Modernes  DS  
Level 6 after 800 hours of tuition

The Certificates and Diplomas of the Alliance Française are for candidates of all levels, whose mother tongue is not French.
They are recognised internationally in more than 130 countries, thanks to the network of Alliance branches throughout the world.
All the Certificates and Diplomas of the Alliance are based upon the recommendations of the Council of Europe and certify language competence levels in accordance with the reference framework of the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe). <<back
