:People
Speak : what people have to say about us...
On
my first visit, I found Alliance Française de Pune unimpressive.A
year and a half and several French courses later, learning French
has become a passion. The reasons are not apparent at first glance.
The peaceful ambience, the library facilities, the teaching method,
the " ever ready to help " attitude of the office team,
the dynamism of leadership direction -these are all factors that have
contributed to keep my motivation buoyant.
I remember the injunction of the professor on the first day : "
Leave your pre-conceived notions and inhibitions outside the door
and enter
". I have obeyed , I am and continue to be enriched
, and I am ever grateful
.

Its always a advantage to know a foreign language .But while learning
it, if you enjoy every minute of what you are doing , then it 's really
worth it. At Alliance, you just learn that.
As a student at the Alliance Française de Poona since 5 years
, I have come to cherish the French language and culture. It provides
a unique learning experience coupled with loads of fun. The numerous
activities it organises gives an opportunity to put your knowledge
of the language to practical use. Be it songs, books, films, music,
theatre, dance, competitions or festivities, the exposure you get
is tremendous.
Starting off with anglicised French , I have come a long way today
and am extremely grateful to the Alliance and its staff for helping
me at every step of the way.

In
these times of globalisation where the world has turned into a global
village one feels the need to learn a foreign language. When it comes
to French, the Alliance Française de Poona is quite obviously
the best place to learn it !
What is really impressive is the method of teaching and of course
the library. It is easier to imbibe the French language thanks to
the various cultural activities like plays translated from French,
video projections, film screenings, lectures, along with the opportunity
to meet French people in person, that are offered by the Alliance.
This also helps to acquire an insight into the literature, history
and contemporary life in France. The professors are ever ready to help us, whatever the nature of
the problem, and their encouragement is definitely an added incentive
to study more. It is little wonder then that we, the students of
the Alliance are so proud to be a part of this cultural heritage.
Learning becomes a pleasure when it is at the Alliance Française
de Poona.
Vive l'Alliance ! ! !
