The Extensive package

The extended course allows one to complete one semester or half-a-level in a period of five months. If you can not spare large chunks of time during a day or a week, but are comfortable with dividing the hours over a larger period of time, this is the package to opt for. Spread over five months, one can choose from four one-hour sessions per week or two two-hour sessions per week.

This course is available during January and August every year. However, it is also available sometimes in February or in March, but in this case, classes are held thrice a week for two hours each. This is the lag session to accommodate those who were not able to sign up in January. Therefore, the numbers of hours are increased and the number of months decreased.

Internal examinations are held at the end of each semester in May and in December. No certificate is granted after successful completion of the course by this method as it allows one to cover only half a level. The other half has to be completed the next session through another extensive course or the one-month July crash course or half-intensive courses.

The extensive method of learning the language allows one access to 65 hours of French language classes.

This option is also available during weekends (Saturday and Sunday), whereby the four hours per week get divided into two hours each on Saturday and Sunday.
