CERTIFICATES & DIPLOMAS Likewise, students may also appear for the CCIP (Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris) examinations, also conducted every May and December. The DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française) & DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) examinations, created in 1985, are the first diplomas in French as a foreign language with national acceptability. The Ministry of National Education in France officially issues them. Around 80 countries are already participating in these exams. The DELF first level corresponds to the acquisition of fundamentals of the French language: aptitude to communicate in French in various day-to-day situations. The DELF second level corresponds to the study of these fundamentals in greater depth: it includes a basic knowledge of French civilisation and a first step towards the specialised discipline chosen by the candidate.
The DALF corresponds to the perfection of the language with the aim of pursuing university studies; a student with DALF is equipped to pursue courses at the university level in France in any discipline chosen. The Alliance Française de Delhi, thus far, offers facilities to take exams only for the DELF first level AND SECOND LEVEL.
The institution offers facilities to take the following exams from the
Alliance Française of Paris - Diplôme de langue, Diplôme supérieur, CCIP
exams, DELF, DALF and the Teacher's Training programme and TEF.
