Speak : what people have to say about us....
Learning French has been an amazing experience. Having learnt the
language only at Alliance Francaise de Delhi, I shall be in a weaker position
to compare the teaching methods with that of other institutes. Nevertheless,
the process of picking up the language has been a wonderful experience
where songs, culture, cuisine, films, literature and other representatives
of the language have been employed. This makes learning an exciting process
and leaves no room for boredom. French grammar was never dreadful. Learning
different accents - from the taut Parisian to the singing southern - was
amazing. And as learning a language is a never ending process, I am still
learning it, each day.
Apart from the classroom, regular filmshows and cultural festivals have
added a lot to the discovery of the French-speaking world. And the library
is the whole of France enclosed in books. Not only are there good study
manuals and fine dictionaries, but also a rich collections of novels,
magazines, journals, cassettes and the live broadcast of RFI (Radio France
Internationale) which is a 24 hour radio broadcast in French from Paris.
In fact, closing your eyes and listening to RFI completely changes the
surroundings.
Now in the new building, the process of learning French - a sweet, romantic
and 'chocolaty' language - is doubly exciting. French, which has been
the preferred language of authors of 'amour' had as well, been the 'langue
officielle' of the West for centuries. No doubt it is one of the most
beautiful languages of the world. Bon voyage on your discovery of the

I joined Alliance immediately after having finished my school. And now,
after almost 3 years, I can say that my experience here has been unforgettable.
French language is not the only thing I learned here, but along with it
I learned French culture and civilization.
The ambience at Alliance Francaise is very pleasant, which helps us in learning
by reading and communication.
All the teachers are very helpful they all possess great knowledge which
they are always ready to share.
Apart from this Alliance also organizes various cultural events like painting
and photography exhibitions by French and Indian artists, various workshops
and performances by visiting French artists, which helps us to know more
about the France of today.
