General French specialised courses workshops tailormade courses Level 1 - elementary The duration of the session is either 150 h (for crash-courses) or 160h (for regular courses). The level 1 for absolute beginners is designed for students who have never been in touch with the French language. The method used is Forum 1. The level 1 for non-beginners is designed for students who have either done our initiation class, or taken French at school / university for several years. The method used is Forum 1. You can understand simple information encountered in everyday situations. You can communicate in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly. At the end of the session, all successful candidates (beginners or non-beginners) will be given the same "Certificat de Francais Elementaire" from the Alliance françaises de Bombay, and they will join the same level 2. COURSE FOR CHILDREN An initiation course into French language specially for children between age group 8-12 years. To give them an early start into speaking, reading and writing a foreign language
