Alliance Française de Bombay is the only institute where you not only know how to speak the language but also know the French culture. My association with this esteemed Institute is from 1993 and I have done till my last level i.e., "Diplome Superieur(Option civilization). I started with this language as a hobby but today it has developed into much more than a hobby. "It is my profession" Jalpa Shah

		I started learning French for FUN! about 17 years ago. Becoming passionately fond of the language, the people and the culture, I immersed myself deeper into it, even getting French Government scholarships to study in France. ONLY thanks to my knowledge of French; from a housewife, I became a French teacher and then a French professor and for the past seven years,I have been in this wonderful job as a Scientific Officer at the prestigious Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, doing French Technical Translations. I am also Joint Secretary of the Indo French Technical Association. Your profession could seem as enjoyable as a 'pass-time' if you are passionately interested in what you are doing. I came to know about the Alliance Française de Bombay through a friend. My decision to join the Alliance Française was the most sensible that I have taken so far. After joining the Alliance, I have already worked as an interpreter with a French Magazine and a television channel as asst. director. Things just started happening after I joined the Alliance.
