CFTH
This diploma is designed for either students
who want to work in hospitality professions, or those who are already
in the tourism and hotel industry and want to improve their French, or
else those who want to add value to their current professional situation.
The aim is to use the French language in such professional situations
of communication as follows:
- welcoming and informing a French-speaking customer,
- writing a letter, a tourism or hotel brochure,
- looking for some information in a professional document,
take notes from an audio recording related to tourism (hotels and restaurants).
The diploma thus requires a basic knowledge on the social, economic and
cultural tourism environment.
The exam is divided into 4 groups of 2 tests, that is 8 parts.

The candidate will be put in a situation of general
communication for 6 of the 8 tests and will have to respond to a defined
professional task.

To pass the exam, the candidate will have to succeed
in 6 tests at least. He can fail at 2 of them provided they do not concern
